What happens when a full, 55 gallon drum spills?

No problem if you have a 65 gallon spill kit on hand. Everything you need to absorb the spill and bag the soiled absorbents is included. The kit even has goggles and gloves to make the cleanup safe for your workers.

This spill clean-up kit is filled with top quality absorbents and the types of absorbents needed to accomplish the job quickly. A large number of socks to surround the spill to keep it from spreading. Large 18 inch x 18 inch pillows to attack and immediately soak up the fluids. Tough, heavy duty absorbent pads to finalize the cleanup.

Once you have purchased the spill clean-up kit and place it at your facility you do not have to worry about your investment. The absorbents are housed in a sealed drum to protect them from water, dirt and dust. The safety yellow color container has a UV protected lid and is made of HDPE to withstand rough handling. The drum will not rust or corrode.

If a spill happens you can quickly access the contents of the chemical spill kit. Simply screw off the lid, put on the gloves and goggles and go to work cleaning it up.

This spill clean-up kit can be purchased with universal/general purpose absorbents which are gray in color for use with water based fluids, oils and most chemicals. The white, oil only absorbents repel water and are for the absorption of hydrocarbons only. They will float on water. Our hazmat absorbents are yellow in color and are for most aggressive fluids such as acids and bases. Be sure to check to see if they are compatible with the chemicals you have at your facility.
