Product Information

Our Pedestrian Barricades are ideal for crowd control and foot traffic safety uses. The 6 foot long barricade wall panels come in orange, white, or custom colors by special order. Increase barricade visibility by combining or alternating section colors. You can also add optional striping or solid reflective sheeting on one or both sides.

These plastic pedestrian barricades use a strong, but lightweight, blow-molded polyethylene construction. Each panel features built-in connectors and barricade light mount holes on either end. Four stacking lugs, with receiving holes, enable compact and secure transportation and storage.

Panel sections include two non-trip legs; one at each end. Use T-style legs as multi-purpose pedestrian traffic or crowd control barriers. The barricades for ADA compliance safely guide sight-impaired pedestrians around work zones. They have tubular leg supports. 

Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, these barricades work in any location. Assemble different lengths and shape crowd control barricade or construction site safety fences. Typical applications include construction zones, parking lots, garages, parades, and walkways.

Versatile and stable design

Blow-molded male/female connectors create a strong and flexible crowd control barricade design. Contractors can quickly link 6ft panels together to form a continuous wall, or, enclose a job site. The interlocking walls allow for up to 120 degree rotation at joins.

Each panel has ten vertical windows to add strength and stability. They also reduce wind load and overall weight. At only 23lbs each, one worker can easily lift sections to and from crew vehicles.

Choose from two styles of non-trip stabilizer feet; flat or tubular steel. Replacement or spare leg kits are available for separate purchase below. Sandbags or rubber ballasts can be set over the feet for added stability, but are not necessary. Legs easily swivel to tuck and lock inside panels when not in use. Four built-in stacking lugs, with corresponding receiver holes, lock pieces together. This allows for secure, compact storage and transportation.

These foot traffic safety barriers are fast and easy to set up and take down in minutes. No tools are necessary to erect or link the barricade wall pieces. The male and female connectors allow for flexibility at each join, with up to 120 degree rotation. This permits set up and use on uneven surfaces. Including transitions over sidewalk curbs to roadways, and speed bumps.

Increase visibility with optional reflective sheeting or barricade lights on traffic facing sides. Panels have two built-in mount holes on each end - attach lights using standard hardware. Support shelves keep barricade lights in place and prevent rotation.

ADA-compliant model

Use plastic pedestrian barricades for safe, stable, and accessible pathways through work areas. All design features meet the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

The ADA-compliant pedestrian barricades have tubular galvanized steel legs on the exterior side. They quickly deploy or tuck and lock away using the toe of your boot. 

Pedestrian facing sides feature a smooth lower surface to accommodate cane tapping. An ergonomic easy-grip handrail shape provides a uniform, continuous guide surface. Open windows along the safety barricade provide good visibility for service animals. 

Durable construction materials

Made of flexible low density polyethylene, panels come in either white or orange. Contact us for custom colors, available by special order. UV inhibitors help minimize fading. Low-profile galvanized steel feet provide stability and reduce tripping risks.

These pedestrian-friendly barriers have many benefits and uses. Plastic barricades can be a superior, practical alternative to concrete or metal barricades. Plastic will not rust and is more lightweight to maneuver. It is also non-conductive, absorbs less thermal radiation, and so is cooler to touch.

Reflective sheeting options

Add optional reflective sheets to four positions at the top and bottom on one or both sides. The recessed reflective areas measure 8" × 53". Sheets styles include right striping, solid orange, or white. Please contact us for for left facing stripes, solid colors, stenciling or custom printing order requests.

Select from three different retroreflective performance grades. This describes the ability to reflect light back to its source:

• Engineer Grade (EG) returns the least amount of light. It lasts about 5 years.
• High Intensity Prismatic (HI) has ~32% retroreflectivity with visibility from 800 -1,200 feet. It lasts about 10 years.
• Diamond Grade (DG) has ~60% retroreflectivity with visibility from 1,300 - 1,600 feet. It lasts about 12 years.

Note: The United States Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) specifies retroreflectivity performance standards. Check traffic control equipment requirements with Federal and State Department of Transportation (D.O.T.).
