Our Granular Absorbents are made with Recycled or Bio-Degradable Material

We carry a large selection of granular absorbents that will handle your spill cleanup needs. All of our loose floor absorbents are made from recycled or natural material and help you comply with 49 CFR 173.3(c)(2).

Gran-Sorb Universal Absorbent

Gran-sorb is our top selling floor absorbent. This granular oil absorbent is made from waste from paper mills, contains no dangerous or hazardous materials, no silica, is fire resistant and is 100% biodegradable. This floor absorbent can be used on oils, lubricants, coolants, solvents, water and most non-aggressive liquids. It has a 1:1 absorbency ratio so 30 lbs of Gran-sorb will absorb 30 lbs of liquid. 30 lbs of oil equals approximately 4 gallons of oil.

Super Sorbent Universal Absorbent

Super Sorbent comes packaged in a handy 28 ounce shaker with 12 cartons per case. Place cartons throughout your facility or include in spill kits for fast response. Have on hand for smaller spills and for routine maintenance cleanup.

This product is also a universal absorbent and will work to clean up oils, coolants, solvents and water. Each carton will absorb approximately one half gallon of liquid. Environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, inorganic and non-reactive.

Peat Moss Oil Absorbent

Peat Moss Absorbent is an all natural absorbent that absorbs oils only. This floor absorbent will not absorb water or water based fluids. Use it to clean up oil spills on land or on hard surfaces. Peat moss is bio-degradable and can be incinerated. This product is packaged in 2 cubic feet bales which will absorb approximately 16 gallons of oil.

Corn Cob Universal Absorbent

Corn Cob Absorbent soaks up a large variety of fluids such as oils, solvents, coolants and water. This universal floor absorbent is made from ground up corn cobs which will hold approximately 4 times their weight in fluids. This product is inert, non-toxic, biodegradable and incinerable. It is available in 40 pound bags and each bag will absorb approximately 8.5 gallons of liquid.

Technical Information

Shipping and Ordering

Gran-sorb, Peat Moss Absorbent and Corn Cob Absorbent are sold by the pallet only and are shipped LTL. Shipping costs can be more then the cost of the granular absorbents. Pallet orders are not returnable. Please request a sample prior to ordering if you are not familiar with the product. Super Sorbent is sold by the case only and can be shipped UPS.
